Looking Back

2020 was a bad year to many but will just be another year in history. It will also not be the worst to many individuals.

Had been in hiatus since Aug 20. Putting some entries on 1st day of 2021 to fill back some missing months.

老夫老妻 – heart warming feel
  • At Pasir Ris Neighbourhood Centre, early in the morning, seeing a simple Christmas Tree does gives a very serene Christmas feel.
  • Jewel, very impresive Christmas deco during this times. Not surprising since it is the Jewel of the country now.
  • A more muted affair in other shopping centres. But still it was a welcome attempt in these times.

I come to this coffeeshop almost every morning for coffee/tea and simple breakfast. It does not serve the best or even good sometimes, but still I appreciate the place very much. These are the ‘aunties’ working at the drinks store. The auntie in red and white shirt with aapron can remember many patrons’ orders.
